About
David Lettick was born in New Haven, CT in 1947. He has been an artist for over fifty years. After graduating with a BA from Cornell in 1969, he worked in Boston creating promotions for record companies. In the early ‘70s he worked as a freelance illustrator, primarily for The Boston Globe, and as a cartoonist, with contracts from three national syndicates. In the mid ‘70s he abandoned this to become a painter. He has lived and painted in Milford, CT, Boston, Miami, the French Quarter of N.O., Houston, Las Vegas, Santa Monica, Sparkill, NY, Scottsdale and Tucson. David has said that he works on a painting until he wants it for himself.
